So this is my first posting, thanks for reading. With the war going on in Iraq I sometimes get frustrated with all the negative coverage from not just the MSM, but everywhere in general. I think to myself, "This is a
war, things are going to be ugly" but even then, constant mentions of IEDs, casualties, and deaths can get to me. You've got both parties in a bitter debate on whether or not to have the troops stay or leave which I understand, but a lot of who's arguing I believe are not qualified. Granted as a staunch conservative I'm a firm believer that Harry Reid is about astute as a piece of toast and Nancy Pelosi's qualifications on military issues equals Michael Moore's qualifications on physical fitness. I stumble around on military websites here and there and one of the ones I was on today has a member who posted an email from his brother today and I'd like to share it. It is such a testament to those who serve or has ever seved in the United States military in any capacity. I just hope more people (politicians or not) can understand that there really is a purpose of us (them) being there in Iraq and/or Afghanistan....at least...that's what some of the ones
there think. Here's the link.
